Intl. Assoc. for Impact Assessment, 36th Annual Meeting in Nagoya

2015.4.27-29　NERISワークショップに参加、発表（ミラノ、イタリア）

原子力災害に関する危機管理のための欧州プラットフォーム（NERIS）が主催するワークショップがミラノで開かれ、村山と修士課程のEl-Asaadさんが参加し、ポスター発表を行いました。

2015.4.20-23　IAIA2015年会に参加、発表（フィレンツェ、イタリア）

国際影響評価学会（International Association for Impact Assessment）の世界大会がフィレンツェで開かれ、村山のほか、博士課程のSuwanteepさん、修士課程のXuさんが、それぞれ報告しました。また、来年の大会を愛知県名古屋市で開催することになっており、閉会式で、大会委員長である千葉商科大学の原科先生とともに、村山が開催内容について報告しました。

2015.4.7　地熱研究会で報告

地熱研究会で、「地域の社会的受容性を考慮した地熱発電設備の導入方策に関する研究」と題する報告を行いました。村山が最初に全体の活動概要を紹介し、その後、博士課程の上地君と東邦大学の柴田先生が、それぞれ国内の状況とニュージーランドの状況について報告しました。

2015.3.31　地熱ガバナンス研究会の開催

村山研究室が事務局になっている本研究会を開催し、研究室所属の上地君、錦澤先生、電中研の窪田先生、東邦大の柴田先生から研究の進捗状況について報告してもらいました。

2015.3.20-25　タンザニアにおける開発事業の社会影響評価について調査

修士課程のNyandaro Mtekiさんの研究の一環として、タンザニアの首都であるダル・エス・サラームの空港拡張事業に関連した社会影響について調査しました。

2015.3.16-17　国連防災会議の一環として、シンポジウムやワークショップに参加・報告（福島市）

福島大学や国連防災会議福島実行委員会が主催する会合に参加し、2013年度まで実施した除染に関するアクションリサーチの報告を行いました。

2015.3.14　原子力災害と緊急避難に関する日欧ワークショップを開催

フランス、ノルウェー、スロバキアから関係者を招き、原発事故時の緊急避難に関するワークショップを開催しました。

2015.3.7-8　アスベスト問題に関する国際ワークショップで報告（立命館大学）

立命館大学政策科学部の森裕之教授らが主催するワークショップに参加し、アジア地域の状況について報告しました。

2015.2.24-25　環境アセスメントに関する国際ワークショップ（環境省）

環境省が主催する国際ワークショップに参加し、主としてアジア地域のメンバーと懇談しました。

2015.1.31-2.1　第3回石綿問題総合対策研究会

第3回研究会を大岡山キャンパスで開催しました。

2015.1.10　国際影響評価学会（IAIA） 日本支部の設立総会

International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA)の日本支部の設立総会が開催され、世界で3番目となる支部活動を開始することになりました。村山は、日本支部の事務局長を務めることになります。

2014.12.20　放射性物質の廃棄物に関するヒアリング調査

福島県周辺において除染によって生じた放射性廃棄物の処分について、栃木県内の市民団体のメンバーの方々にお会いし、お話を伺いました。

2014.12.9　NERIS事務局長のThierry Schneider氏と懇談

欧州における原子力災害への対応に関するネットワークであるNERISのSchneider氏と現状報告と今後の連携について懇談しました。

2014.11.28-30　日本リスク研究学会年次大会（京都大学）

第27回大会が京都大学で開催され、福島の復興過程における現状と課題について、村山が報告しました。

2014.11.23-24　アスベスト問題に関する国際会議で報告（バンコク・タイ）

タイ・チュラロンコン大学のVithaya Kulsomboon教授が主催する国際会議に出席し、日本でアスベスト問題が広がった経緯について、村山が報告しました。

2014.11.10-11　原子力災害に関する危機管理のための欧州プラットフォーム（NERIS）の会合で村山が報告　（トロムセ・ノルウェー、研究・学会活動）

原子力災害に関する危機管理のための欧州プラットフォーム（NERIS）が主催するワークショップが、ノルウェーのトロムセで開かれ、福島県周辺の放射性廃棄物の処理に関する現状と課題について、次のタイトルで報告しました。Siting process of disposal facilities for radioactive wastes in surrounding regions of Fukushima prefecture

2014.10.24　環境災害に関する国際シンポで村山が講演　（ソウル・韓国、研究・学会活動）

韓国環境研究所（KEI）他の主催で開催された北東アジアの環境安全に関するシンポジウムで、"Environmental Disaster and Challenge for Preparedness in Japan"と題して報告しました。

2014.9.27-28　環境共生学会で村山が発表（徳島大学、研究・学会活動）

環境共生学会の第17回学術大会が徳島大学で開かれ、村山が「環境影響評価の手法と制度的手続き」と題する報告を行いました。

2014.9.22-23　国際影響評価学会（IAIA）の本部メンバーによるサイトビジット（名古屋市）

2016年の5月に名古屋市で開催を計画しているIAIAの世界大会について、学会本部のメンバー2名が来日し、会場の候補地である名古屋国際会議場のほか、関係施設を視察するとともに、関係者との会合を開催しました。

2014.9.20　環境アセスメント学会でSuwanteep Kultip(Bo)さんとJiaying Xu(Tracy)さんが発表

環境アセスメント学会の研究発表会で、博士課程のKultipさんと修士課程のXuさんがそれぞれポスター発表を行いました。タイトルは、以下のとおりです。

Sept. 13, 2014 Oral Presentation of Ms. Chanokporn Smuthkalin (Gift) at annual meeting of Society for Environmental Economics and Policy Studies (SEEPS) (Hosei University)

Ms. Smuthkalin, a PhD student, made an oral presentation titled "Current Situation and Issues on Wind Turbine Power Generation in Thailand" at annual meeting of SEEPS.

Sept. 12, 2014 Oral Presentation of Dr. Iizuka at Annual Meeting of Japan Association of Planning and Public Management (JAPPM) (Hitotsubashi University)

The 37th annual meeting of JAPPM, for which prof. Murayama serves as a councilor, was hold, and Dr. Iizuka made an oral presentation titled "Issues on Community Rehabilitation  of Evacuees from Nuclear Disasters".

Aug. 24,28 2014 Oral Presentation of Mr. Hamza El-Asaad at PBNC (Pacific Basin Nuclear Conference) (Vancouver)

Mr. El-Asaad, a Master's course student,  made an oral presentation titled "Analysis of Evacuation Procedure after the Accident of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant" at a conference which was organize by academic experts on nuclear issues in Vancouver.

Aug. 21-22, 2014 Poster Presentation of Dr. Fumino IIzuka at Asia Risk Conference (Taipei)

Dr. Iizuka, a resarch fellow, made a poster presentation titled "Evacuation Procedure Analysis after the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant Accident" at Asia Risk Conference in Taipei.

Jul. 19, 2014 Memorial symposium for 35th anniversary of Japan Environmental Council (JEC)

Japan Environmental Council, for which Professor Murayama serves as a councilor, held a memorial symposium for the 35th anniversary at Surugadai campus of Meiji University.

Jul, 14, 2014 Meeting of Research group on governance for the utility of geothermal energy

We held a meeting of a research group on governance for the utility of geothermal energy, supported by Sumitomo Foundation.

Jun. 13, 2014 General meeting and symposium of Society for Risk Analysis, Japan

Society for Risk Analysis, Japan, for which Professor Murayama serves as Secretary-General, held annual general meeting and symposium at Yotsuya Campus of Ohbirin Universtiy.  Topic of the symposium was tide embankment which started to construct in damaged regions by Great East Japan Earthquake.

May 29, 2014 Special talk on environmental risk management at an annual meeting of Japan Society of Waste Management and Recycling

Professor Murayama gave a special lecture titled "Risk Management and Communication for Hazardous Substances" at a periodical research meeting of the Japan Society for Waste Management and Recycling

May. 12, 2014 Presentation at the 27th academic meeting on Environmental Engineering

At the meeting held by alliances of academic societies in Japan, Prof. Murayama gave a presentation titled "Current condition and issues on decontaminations of radioactive substances." as a member of Society for Environmental Science.

Mar. 28, 2014 Interview survey with local residents on behavior during intial stage after nuclear accident (Iwaki City, Fukushima)

As a field survey of research project (Head: Prof. Katsumi Nakai, Fukushima University) on Initial behaviors of local residents just after Fukushima Nuclear disasters supported by Japan Agency for Promotion of Science and Technology, we conducted a group interview for people who evacuated from Namie Town to Iwaki City.

Mar. 23-25, 2014 Survey on EIA in China

With Ms. Xu, an international student from China, we conducted interview surveys on EIA systems and cases in China.

Mar. 14-19, 2014 Field visit survey on current condition of Wind power facilities in Thailand

With Ms. Smuthkalin, an international student from Thailand, we conducted a field visit to wind turbine facilities in Thailand.

Mar.3, 2014 Interview survey on local residents' behaviors during initial stage of nuculear disaster in Fukushima (Kori Machi, Fukushima)

As a field survey of research project (Head: Prof. Katsumi Nakai, Fukushima University) on Initial behaviors of local residents just after Fukushima Nuclear disasters supported by Japan Agency for Promotion of Science and Technology, we conducted a group interview for people who evacuated from Namie Town to Kohri Machi.

Feb. 1-2, 2014 2nd Annual meeting of research group on comprehensive measures for asbestos issues (Ohokayama Campus)

The 2nd meeting was held in Ohokayama Campus of Tokyo Tech, and around 170 people participated into the meeting.

Jan 22-24, 2014　NERIS Conference (Oslo, Norway)

Professor Murayama and Mr. Totoki, Institute for Global Environmental Studies (IGES), attended a workshop organized by NERIS (European Platform on preparedness for nuclear and radiological emergency response and recovery).

Jan. 9-10, 2014　Regional EIA symposium (Hong Kong)

An international symposium was held by Hong Kong Institute of EIA and the Institute of Environment, Energy and Sustainability of the Chinese University of Hong Kong,  Ms. Kultip Suwanteep made  presentation titled "Environmental Assessment in Thailand - Trend of EIA and Trial of SEA."

Dec.16, 2013 Meeting of research group on governance for the utility of geothermal energy

Mainly organized by members who join a research funded by Sumitomo Foundation, a meeting was held on governance for the utility of geothermal energy

Nov.15-17, 2013 Annual meeting of Society for Risk Analysis

The 26th annual meeting of Society for Risk Analysis, Japan, for which Professor Murayama serves as director-General, was held at Chuo university.  Dr. Ono, a research associate, made a presentation titled, "Analysis of relationship among stakeholders on decontamination work of radioactive substances compared to Suginami Disease."

Nov.7-8, 2013 Japan, Korea and China, tripartite workshop on EIA/SEA

A workshop among experts of East Asian countries was held at Chiba University of Commerce.  As Japanese experts, members of Japan Society for Impact Assessment, Ministry of the Environment, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) as well as Japan Association of Environmental Assessment attended. Also, academia and government officials joined from Korea and China.

Sept. 14,15, 2013  Oral presentation on stakeholders involvement for decontamination in Fukushima at Japan Society for Impact Assessment

The 12th annual meeting of Japan Society for Impact Assessment was held at Hosei University, and we made an oral presentation about current situation and issues on stakeholders involvement for decontamination of radioactive substances in Fukushima.　On behalf of co-authors, Mr. Yoshiaki Totoki (Institute of Global Environmental Studies: IGES) and Dr. Satoru Ono (Research fellow of my laboratory) , Dr. Ono made a presentation at the conference.

Sept. 7, 2013  Oral presentation on the role of community media in recovery and reconstruction from the Great East- Japan Earthquake at Japan Association for Public Administration

The 36th annual meeting of Japan Association for  Public Administration was held at Miyagi University, and we made an oral presentation with Mr. Takanobu Kato, who was a Master's course student of School of Political Studies, Waseda University and  currently is a teacher of Shibata Agricultural and Forestry High School, about role of local media during recovery and reconstruction period from natural disaster.

Sept. 6, 2013  Dr. Fumino Iizuka, a research fellow of our labs., was awarded from Japan Association for Public Administration

At the general meeting of Japan Association for  Public Administration, Dr. Fumino Iizuka, a research fellow of my laboratory, received a encouragement award.

June 14, 2013  General meeting  and sping symposium of the Society for Risk Analysis, Japan Section

The general meeting of the Society for Risk Analysis, Japan Section, was held at University of Tokyo, Murayama facilitate the meeting as the secretary-general.  Afterwards,  annual symposium was held titled "Risk analysis for food safety, past and future."
